The physician graduated from the Medical School of the Universidad Científica del Sur, is a professional with holistic formation both personally and professionally; his education is based on three formative axes: attitudinal, humanistic and scientific-professional.

The medical student is empowered in the various fields as a competitive scientist, and strategist social endeavors.

Our graduates are ready to work efficiently in academic, scientific, humanistic, ethical, social and legal aspects showing leadership at all times in addition to entrepreneurship and a full vision of the health conditions of our population and of the role of the physician in our society.

to offer health care in an integral way with a solid scientific, cultural, ethical and humanistic base, in aspects of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, recovery in different rehabilitation levels of health care.
to lead with entrepreneurial spirit the interdisciplinary team of health professionals, technical personnel and members of the community to confront and resolve sanitary problems.
to perform as a leader, committed to society and their environment, promoting in their community education, organization and self-development under a concept of integral health in order to improve the quality of life.
to identify, resolve and propose solutions for major health problems and for the system of health through scientific research with a positive attitude towards the aspects of the basic sciences, epidemiological sciences, clinical and social.
to be in charge and to take part in the structure of government of the different units of the system of health, public and private, at national and international levels.
to be updated with the scientific and social information and expanding his capacity of self-learning.
to perform with respect to legal-medical in every day tasks and whenever is required.
