Medical School - Professional Program -

The design of the curriculum is based on the teaching of medicine at an international level.  At present, it is the most modern study plan that exists in our country.

The above mentioned curriculum organizes the learning process based on the system of the living human being, avoiding the repetitions of subjects. The four courses of morpho-physiology replace and integrate the courses of cytology, histology, embryology, anatomy and physiology, traditionally taught separately; in this way developing the integration into the curriculum anatomic-functional.

This learning process is sustained in the use of the best didactic resources such as personalized practices of microscopy, anatomical models for the morphological studies: the functional interpretation of organs and systems in radiological and econographic plaques, completing the studies with practices of dissection of corpuses in the amphitheatre.

In the courses of basic sciences a strategy of orientation is applied towards medicine, achieving the same goals in less time via the reduction of a year of study in the career.

The professional career of Human Medicine departs from a humanistic formation; as a philosophy, it emphasizes the early contact with the human being. For this reason agreements have been established with three of the most prestigious clinics of our medium (city):  Anglo-American, Ricardo Palma, San Borja and the Public Hospital Maria Auxiliadora.  All of these resources enable students to engage in observation practices from the beginning of their career and continue in the following cycles at the hospitals of the  National Health System.
